SIR, We read with interest the article 'Clinical characteristics and comorbidities in adult-onset
Still's disease using a large administrative claims database', published recently online in
Rheumatology [1]. The adult-onset Still's disease (AOSD) cohort ascertained using an
administrative claims database found a significantly increased frequency of serious
infection, and a lower prevalence of hyperlipidaemia and obesity compared with controls.

SIR, We read with enthusiasm Hocˇevar et al.'s report on their single-centre adult-onset
Still's disease (AOSD) cohort experience [1]. We applaud the authors for sharing their
longitudinal data of a relatively large cohort of 22 AOSD patients followed for a median of
32months. Their report significantly contributes to the growing literature on AOSD. Although
the two AOSD cohorts cannot be directly compared, the authors highlight a few important
